This was a clear example of why it is necessary to tank showers.  Our client contacted us because the original shower was covered in mould and kept on coming back regardless of mould killing spray.  The problem was that water had penetrated the original grout and damaged the plasterboard underneath.

Middlewich Bath & WC Renovation

Our client had a WC room and seperate bathroom.  The brief was to completeley renovate each room.  The WC had been papered so it was necessary to remove all of the paper and re-skim the walls and ceiling.  This created a better surface for painting.  The floor was then tiled and a new WC installed.

Middlewich Bathroom Renovation

Our client already had a large bathroom with a bath and separate shower that had been installed three years ago. Unfortunately the shower area had not been tanked which led to large amounts of mould. The first job was to remove the shower, tiles and damaged plaster. We then used standard plasterbaord to set the walls level again and tanked these with a tanking membrane sourced from Porcelanosa. A new low profile larger shower tray was fitted along with a new minimalist shower valve and new tiles.

Holmes Chapel Bathroom Installation

The original bathroom was dated and consisted of a bath, pedestal sink, shower cubicle and WC. The clients wanted more space in the room for a growing family so opted for a cube shower bath. This had to be relocated to another side of the room. In turn, the original radiator was removed and a towel rail radiator installed.

Northwich Bathrooom Installation

This was a full bathroom suite to be installed together with full floor to ceiling tiling.  The previous suite had only been installed for three years but the owners never liked the look of the room.  It was suggested that a cube shower bath would suit the family better along with a wall mounted shower valve.  As the room had a small window it was also decided that white tiles would be a better option to keep the room bright.  The artex ceiling was skimmed and painted and four low voltage down-lighters were installed to create a clean bright, well lit room.
