Most ensuites are very limited in size so trying to make them feel more spacious can be difficult….but not impossible.
In this example we removed the old shower cubicle altogether and installed a level access wetroom tray. Shower enclosures take up space and are only useful when you are in them so we opted for a folding wetroom screen. This folds flat against the wall when not in use making the room feel much more spacious.
A wall hung WC frame was installed and tiled over creating a large window ledge.
The client wanted the ensuite to feel like a boutique hotel bathroom with a ‘bling’ feel so high gloss textured tiles were chosen from the Porcelanosa Cubica range.
Electric underfloor heating was installed together with LED lighting and a high power extractor fan mounted in the loft making it barely audible.
